Mr. Ronald Eugene Baker age 68 passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center in Rutherfordton, NC. Ronald was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam War and he will be laid to rest in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC. He is survived by his wife Mary Rowe Baker, one son Ronald Lee Baker, one daughter Rachel Baker, two stepsons John Raber and James Raber, two step daughters Jeane Raber and Julie Gerber, two sisters Barbara Lamb and Cynthia Cole, grandpa’s handyman Cliff Hanni, thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Monday, December 31, 2018 at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel 118 College Ave., Rutherfordton, NC 28139. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
