Russell Henderson
Russell “Joe” Henderson, age 65, of Rutherfordton, died Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Hospice House. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Robert Earl and Mapha Harris Henderson. He was a former machine operator for Watts Regualtor. He was a US Army veteran, and served in Vietnam. Joe is survived by his sister in law, Mary Ann Henderson of the home; brothers, Clayton Henderson of Rock Hill, SC and Bill Harris of Polk County, and sister Wilda Shults of Rutherfordton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carrie Lee Cooper Henderson, five brothers and one sister. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
