Sally Louise Goode Queen, 91, of Rutherfordton, died Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Oak Grove Health Care Center. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late James Elbert and Lillie Walker Goode. She retired as the custodian for Southern Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Martha Norton of Morganton; grandchildren, Angie Biggerstaff and husband David of Rutherfordton, Scott McDougal and wife Jan of Morganton, Michael McDougal of Morganton, and Jill Hutchins and husband Johnny of Bristol, VA; six great grandchildren and two great greatgrandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C.P. Queen and daughter Sylvia Freeman. A celebration of Sally’s life will be held 11AM Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Southern Baptist Church with Rev. John Perry officiating.
