Salvatore Sarate. 82, of Rutherfordton, died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Hospice House of Forest City. A native of New York, he was the son of the late Salvatore Sarate Senior and Josephine Duarte. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Esperanza Celia Sarate and his Son Anthony Joseph Sarate. Left to cherish his memory is his son Matthew J. Sarate and wife Maribell Sarate of Rutherfordton; grandchildren Hope Sarate and Nicholas Sarate; Sister Marylin Bilak and Brother Rudolph Sarate, extended family and the Mancipe Parra family who loved him dearly and to whom he loved as real family. “Sal” was the Founder and President of TAB Microfilm, a successful Company in New Jersey. He loved animals, especially dogs. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and spirit of adventure. A loving father and grandfather, a true friend that will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Saturday Dec 6, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Forest City. The family will receive friends from 5:30pm until 7:00pm on Friday December 5, 2014 at Crowe’s Mortuary.
