Taffy Taylor

Taffy Taylor, of Spindale, died Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Fair Haven of Forest City. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Buck and Nell Penson Goforth. Taffy was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, was a retired beautician and worked at Carver Center with the Head Start program for 13 years. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Don Taylor; sons Mark Taylor and wife Cindy and Matt Taylor and wife Mandy; grandchildren, Noah Taylor, Jacob Taylor, Sarah Taylor and Emma Taylor. Funeral services will be held 12 o’clock Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Crowe’s Chapel with Rev. Bob Philbeck and Rev. Matt Mills officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Crowe’s Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
