Thelma Crow

Thelma Morrison Crow, age 94, of Forest City, NC died Sunday, November 17 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. Thelma was a native of Rutherford County, retired from Spindale Mills, and was a member of Adaville Baptist Church where she was involved all her life with many church activities. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James B. Crow; parents, Arthur Lex and Quillia Whisnant Morrison; brothers Elmore Morrison and Blane Morrison; sisters Myrtle Morrison, Inez Daniel and Mildred Crowe. Left to cherish her memory are son Sidney Crowe of Forest City; grandchildren Megan Jones of Forest City and Stephen Crowe (fiancé Maggie Elliott) of Forest City; and greatgrandchildren Reid Jones and Reagan Jones. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Adaville Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Whitlow and Rev. Jeff Pate officiating. Burial will follow in Eternal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2PM Wednesday prior to the service.
