Timothy Manuel "Tim" Higgins, 49, of Rutherfordton, died Tuesday, July 7 at Rutherford Hospital. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of Jimmy Perry Higgins and Lois Rhodes Searcy. Tim was a welder for Tiemen Technologies. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Cecelia Lane Higgins of the home; one daughter Jessie Higgins of the home, and one sister, Sonya McVey of Polk County.
