Tyler Wayne Collins, 29, of Rutherfordton, died Saturday, November 10, 2018 at his home. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of Rhonda Kay Collins and Malcolm Wayne Collins of Rutherfordton. He was an eight year veteran of the US Air Force, attaining the rank of E5, and was an Aerospace Ground Tech Specialist. Left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents, are his children, Avery Rose Collins and Nicholas Axl Collins, both of Rutherfordton; sister Ashley Kay Collins of Shelby; grandmother, Brenda Kay Ledford of Rutherfordton; grandmother, Dianne Griffin of Kittrell, NC; grandfather, Henry Griffin of Kittrell, NC; and the mother of his children, Megan Harris of Rutherfordton; and a number of aunts, uncles and other family members. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 6 until 8 PM at Crowe’s Mortuary. Services will be private.
