Vear Humphries Shade age 83 of 488 Harvey Logan Rd. Bostic, NC died Saturday at Hospice House in Forest City. She was a native of Rutherford County and a retired Nurses Aid. Mrs. Shade was preceded in death by her husband Perry Shade Sr.; parents Raleigh and Rosanna Humphries and sons Daniel and Farris Shade. Left to cherish her memory; her children Perry Shade Jr. of Ellenboro, Floyd Shade of Kentucky, Evonne Logan and Joseph Shade of Bostic; siblings Raleigh Humphries, Vernon Gant and Ebie Shade of Shelby, Lexie Padgett of Charlotte and Edward Humphries of Forest City along with a number grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
