Vera Fowler, age 80, of Rutherfordton, died Wednesday, October 10 at Restwell Home. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Barzilla and Viola Gault Fowler. She was a member of Piney Knob Baptist Church. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2PM Friday, October 12 at Piney Knob Baptist Church with Rev. Carrell Pruette officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
