Janet Ward Bridges, age 95, of Rutherfordton died Friday at Oakland Living Center. She was a native of Rutherford County, widow of the late Homer Bridges and daughter of the late Ben and Gertrude Sisk Ward. Janet attended Little White Country Church and was retired from the furniture industry. Surviving is her sister Helen Ward Arrowood of Rutherfordton. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday at Rutherfordton City Cemetery with the Rev. Pete Bridges officiating. The family will be at the home of a sister, Helen Arrowood, 147 Ridgeland Dr. Rutherfordton, Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County P.O Box 336 Forest City, N.C. 28043.
