Violet Elizabeth Tate Rollins age 102, passed away on December 4th, 2011. Violet was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church where she enjoyed teaching the young children’s Sunday School class. Violet was the daughter of the late Victor and Ola Tate. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Keith Rollins and a brother Nicholas Tate. Left to cherish her memory are her son Robert and wife Mary Lou Rollins of Franklin, NC. Daughter Elizabeth and husband Jerome Bulman of Spartanburg, SC. Grandson Robby and wife Linda Rollins of Franklin, NC. Granddaughter Meg and husband Scott Petty of Franklin, NC. Grandson Greg and wife Jennie Bulman of Spartanburg, SC. Grandson Matt and wife Nicole Bulman of Spartanburg, SC. Six great grandsons Logan, Tyler, Jacob, David, Hunter, and Parker. Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 224 Chimney Rock Rd Rutherfordton, NC 28139 on Wednesday December the 7th 2011 at 2:00PM with the Rev. Clifford Bradshaw and Dr. Larry Gregg officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
