Virginia Deview Stacy, age 88, of 174 Springdale Dr. Forest City passed away Monday at Oak Grove Health Care Center. She was a native of Spartanburg County , S.C.; widow of the late George Allen Stacy; daughter of the late Roy and Pauline Burrell and member of Alexander United Methodist Church. Left to cherish her memory are her children Frances Dobbins, Margaret Dwiggins, and Wayne Stacy all of Rutherfordton and Steve Stacy of Siler City; brother Dean Burrell Charlotte, NC; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
