Wendell Radford Sr.

Mr. Wendell Paul Radford, Sr. age 70 of Poors Ford Road went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday August 14, 2013 while being cared for at Hospice House of Forest City. A native of Rutherford County he was a son of the late Grover Paul Radford and Leah Ann Willis Radford. Mr. Radford was a former truck driver for APAC and also worked in several local textile mills. Left to cherish his memory are three daughters – Carol Lynn Smith, Angela Marie Humphries and Sandra Ann Radford; two sons – Wendell Paul Radford, Jr. and Christopher Paul Radford as well as nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Rachel Baker Radford. A gathering of family and friends will be held at 190 Poors Ford Road Rutherfordton, NC 28139 on Saturday August 17, 2013 from 2 until 4 P.M. Online condolences may be made at www.crowemortuary.com.
