William Thomas Hargett, 69 of Camp Creek Road Union Mills died on Tuesday April 21, 2009. He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Joseph Preston and Pearl Harris Hargett. He was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church in Union Mills. He is survived by his wife Betty Hargett of the home, Sons-Thomas Dale Hargett of Union Mills and Jerry William Hargett of Spartanburg SC, Daughter Laverne Mason of Glenn Springs SC and a step-son Jamie Lewis of Union Mills. Three brothers: Calvin and Ray Hargett of Granite Falls NC and Wayne Hargett of Union Mills. One sister Vivian Lane of Rutherfordton. Six Grandchildren Four Great grandchildren and Two Step Grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 23 from 7-9 PM at Crowe’s Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held on Friday April 24 at 2 PM at Camp Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony McCraw officiating.
