Wilma Johnson Vance, 73, of Rutherfordton, died Monday, January 6, 2020 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Myrtle Rumfelt Johnson. She was a retired textile winder. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Troy Dale Vance; daughters Janet Wallace and husband Todd and Marlene Vance and wife Donna Harris; grandson Caleb Lee and wife Christie; great grandsons Reed Lee and Trenton Lee; step granddaughter, Kimberly Wallace; step great grandchildren, Lillian, Daisy and Rayan Thomas; four sisters; one brother; and a special sister in law. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Troy Vance, an infant son Douglas Vance, one brother and three sisters. Funeral services will be held 2PM Friday, January 10, 2020 at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Keith Vance officiating. Interment will follow in Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
