Wilson Drayton Wright, age 67, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away on July 31st at the VA Medical Center. Wilson was a graduate of Western Carolina University, a member of Second Baptist Church, and the former owner of Convenience Square. Wilson was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Clara Smith Wright. Left to cherish his memory are his son Greg Wright of Rutherfordton, daughter Renea Mellis of Wilmington NC, sisters Elaine Woods of Rock Hill SC, Dianne Gibson of Spindale NC, and four grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Wright. The family will receive friends at Crowe’s Funeral Home on Sunday August the 5th from 2-3:30PM.
