Little Miss Alaya Kiani Chambers, 4 months old, of Statesville, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born February 22, 2016, and was the daughter of Ernest Chambers and Iris Mayfield. Her twin sister, Ayla Kiona Chambers, preceded her in death on March 5, 2016

In addition to her parents, she leaves to remember her, four sisters, Shanigua White, Azaria Daye, Zakiya Daye, and Te’Nija Daye; paternal grandparents, Ernest Holland and Peggy Gamble, both of Statesville; paternal great grandmother, Margaret Holland of Statesville; maternal grandmother, Sherry Mayfield of Statesville; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted, Tuesday, July 19, 2016, 1:00 pm, at the Belmont Cemetery. Pastor Shelia Mayfield will deliver words of comfort.
