Miss Annie Mae Roseboro 79, of 1104 Weaver Street, Statesville, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018, at the Gordon Hospice House, Statesville. She was born in Lincoln County on February 20, 1939, and was the daughter of the late Lovit Roseboro, and Annie Reid Roseboro. Amie Mae will truly be missed. In addition to her late parents, Lovit Roseboro and Amie Reid Roseboro, she was also preceded in death by two sons, Charles Summers and Ronald Johnson; a daughter, Joanne Martin; three brothers, Charlie Roseboro, Sammy Roseboro and Edward Roseboro; four sisters, Elizabeth Roseboro, Purella Roseboro, Pansy Poe and Betty Mayo.


Annie Mae was educated in the Lincoln County Schools, and was a member of Mt. Calvary Holiness Church.


She leaves to cherish the memory of her life two sons, Jerry Roseboro and Jimmy Roseboro of Statesville; four daughters, Linda Roseboro, Peggy Mayhew, Patricia Roseboro, all of Statesville; and Antionette Bailey, Maryland; one sister, Edith Roseboro Harmon, Troutman; twenty three grandchildren, Tracie Eckles, Jeffrey Roseboro, Corey Roseboro, Marquita Roseboro, Annikia Roseboro, Qua’Darrius Roseboro, Tiffany (Jay) Rogers, Tosha Roseboro, Amanda Roseboro, Tammie Heller, Michael (Kim) Roseboro, Antoinette Cornelius, Brian Summers, Charles Everhardt, Kebra Roseboro, and a host of other nieces and nephews; thirty four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.


Celebration of Life Services will be conducted on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m., but will assemble at 829 Opal Street, Statesville at other times.
