Won't it be so bright and fair When we meet our love ones there I'll have a new body Praise the Lord, I'll have a new life Ardell Levon Howard, 53, of 1902 Ora Boulevard, Statesville, was born in Iredell County on August 18, 1965, and was the daughter of Alice Clark Howard and the late Hosea Linburgh Howard. She departed this life on Thursday, July 11, 2019, following an extended illness. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Santana Howard. She was a graduate of Statesville High School and while living in Winston-Salem, she was a member of Carver School Road Church. In addition to her mother, Alice Howard of the Statesville; she leaves to cherish the memory of her life her grandson, Carter Wright of Newton; four siblings, Angela Faye Howard of Statesville, Anthony (Kim) Howard of Troutman, Tabitha (Patrick) Clyburn and Ronald (Lisa) Howard, both of Statesville; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at The Mary B. Bigham Memorial Chapel of Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home. Members of the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., but will assemble at the residence of her sister, Tabitha (Patrick) Clyburn249 Johnathan Lane, Statesville, at other times.
