Billy William Roseboro

Mr. Billy William Roseboro, Jr., 56, of 1714 Wedgedale Avenue, Statesville, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013, following an extended illness. He was born in Iredell County on March 1, 1957, and was the son of Billy William Roseboro, Sr. and Annie Mae Jones Roseboro. He was preceded in death by a son, Zackary Jarahm Roseboro, a brother, Charles Wesley Roseboro and a sister, Janice Roseboro Hooks. He was a graduate of Statesville High School, and served with the United States Marine Corps where he was honorably discharged. He loved fishing. In addition to his father, and mother, Billy and Annie Roseboro, he leaves to cherish the memory of his life one son, Quentin Roseboro of Statesville; two daughters, Shoshauna Roseboro and Mariah Roseboro, both of Statesville; one brother, Leonard Roseboro of Statesville; two sisters, Sybil Roseboro and Gwendolyn (Paul) Roseboro, both of Statesville; one grandson, Xashaun Goode of Statesville; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, neighbors and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at 12:00 noon at The Mary B. Bigham Memorial Chapel of Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home. Rev. Isaiah Wheeler will officiate and burial will follow in the National Cemetery , Salisbury, at 2:00 p.m. with Military Rites. Visit the Book of Memories for Mr. Roseboro at www.rutledgeandbigham.com.
