Carlos Humberto Maldonado Aquilar, 31, of 1125 Wilmington Avenue, Statesville, N. C. departed this life on Saturday, November 12, 2016, following an automobile accident. He was born in Mexico and was the son of Rebeca Maldonado.
He is survived by his mother of Mexico, one brother, Fernando Sanchez Maldonado; two sisters, Rebeca Sanchez Maldonado and Margarita Sanchez Maldonado; other relatives and friends.
Family will assemble at the residence of his cousins, Miguel Rodriguez, 1125 Wilmington Avenue.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at at 12:00 noon at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
Carlos will be buried in San Luis Potosi Mexico.
