" For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Mrs. Margaret Ann Hannah Hester Nichols, of 499 Mt. Bethel Road, Harmony, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020, at her residence. She was born in Kannapolis, N C. on October 16, 1953, and was the daughter of the late Millard Hannah and Jeanette Little Hannah. She was married to Jeffery Dean Nichols, who survives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ella Mae Hannah and Glenda Barber. Affectionately called, MeMa, she was a high school graduate and worked with Jani King, a cleaning service. She leaves to cherish the memory of her life in addition to her husband, Jeffery Dean Nichols of the home; six children, William “Sonny” (Pamela) Hester of Kannapolis, Marcus (Kimberly) Hester of Charlotte, Jeffrey M. (Nakishia) Nichols of Wilkesboro, Katrina Hester and LaToya Hester, both of Statesville and Rochelle Parks of Harmony; her siblings, Jeffery Hannah of Rutherford, NC, Millard Hannah of Kannapolis, Gladys (David) Johnson of Kannapolis, Sylvester (Annie) Hannah of Missouri and Oscar Little of Augustus, Georgia; grandchildren, Sean Hester, Cody Hester, Madison Hester, Ty’Nasia Franklin, Shamiya Nichols, Masiah Nichols, Latreal Nichols, Kaliya Hester, Keshawn Hester, Kalea Hester and Justice Hester; her mother-in-law, Tennie Nichols Gabriel; her brother-in-law, Gary (Linda) Nichols of Statesville; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Friday, October 2, 2020, at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home, Statesville at 2:00 p.m. Visit the Book of Memory for Mrs. Nichols at www.rutledgeandbigham.com.
