Revelation 21:4</p><p>Mrs. Martha Ann Adams Lawrence, was born in Iredell County on August 30, 1939, and was the daughter of the late Pless Adams and Rosie Lee Stevenson Adams. She departed this life on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at Wake Forest Medical Center, Winston-Salem, following an extended illness. </p><p>Mrs. Lawrence graduated from Unity High School. She was employed by Carolina Mills as a doffer and later retired and went on to work at Mom and Pops. She was a member of the Whole Truth Church. She was united in marriage to the late Robert Ervin Lawrence. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Adams, a daughter, Chasity Lawrence, a grandson, Antonio Miller, a great granddaughter, Lil Baby Chasity.</p><p>She leaves to cherish the memory of her life, her son, Keith Andrew Adams of the home; two daughters, Anita (Jimmy) Adams Bennett and Sherri Ann (Randy Allison) Adams, both of Statesville; two brothers, John (Ernestine) Adams, of Bronx, NY and Albert Adams of Statesville; three sisters, Sarah Reid, Doris Adams and Omega Adams, all of Statesville; eleven grandchildren, Teeneanya (Darian) Turner, Kandense Adams, Chasity Adams, Felicity Bennett, Selicity Bennett, Keith Adams, Brandon Adams, Antonio Miller, Lakeitha Mintz, Terrance Adams and James Murdock, III; nineteen great grandchildren, Shamia Adams, Shakira Turner, Kandense Adams, Shidarian Turner, Aliyah Adams, America Dobbins, DaQuanta Dobbins, Trey Kennedy, ShaDiamond Bennett, Aziah Myers, Darian Turner, Jr., Jaylen Turner, Imania Prince, Malik Myers, Christopher Adams, Scott Holland, Jr., Major Martin, and Corvis Murdock; one great great grandchild, Reagen Wasson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Celebration of Life Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Rutledge &amp; Bigham Mortuary, Statesville; Bishop Ralph Wood will officiate.</p><p><br></p><p>Members of the family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m at Rutledge &amp; Bigham Mortuary.</p><p><br></p><p>Visit the Book of Memories for Mrs. Lawrence at www.rutledgeandbigham.com.
