Feimster, Sr.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Minister Harold Eugene Feimster, Sr., 67, of 2004 Brassfield Road, Greensboro, N. C. passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015, at Beacon Place-Hospice &amp; Palliative Care, Greensboro, following an extended illness. He was born in Iredell County on February 12, 1947, and was the son of the late Howard and Ernestine Rucker Feimster, Sr. He was married to Christine Tapp Feimster, who survives.</p><p>He was a 1965 graduate of Unity High School in Statesville, attended Winston-Salem State University and Forsyth Technical Community College. At the time of his death, he had attended two years of Ministry at Greensboro Bible Institute. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by AT &amp; T (Southern Bell/Bell South) for over 45 years. He served with the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He was a member of the American Legion Post 4423 in Salisbury. At an early age, he joined Davidsonville Baptist Church, Statesville. Following his move to Greensboro, he became a member of Good News Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday School Teacher, Youth Director and in various other capacities. At the time of his death, he was a member of Whosoever Will Baptist Church in Greensboro, serving as an Associate Minister, Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and serving with the Youth Department.</p><p>In addition to his wife, Christine of the home; he leaves to cherish the memory of his life, his children, Harold Eugene Feimster, Jr., (Malinda) of Greensboro, Troy Eugene Feimster of Statesville, Kenya N. Griffin Donaldson (John) of Greensboro and Shanna T. Griffin Shearin (Shawn) of Apex; his siblings, Shirley Elaine Feimster and Howard (Shirley Ann Leach) Feimster, Jr., both of Statesville; Gloria Lavern Feimster Baldwin (Ronald) of Charlotte, Linda Gail Feimster Lowery (Arthur) of Detroit, Michigan, Janice S. Feimster Adams (Robert) of Statesville, Thomas Lynn Feimster (Rozelle) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Ernest “Ronnie” William Feimster (Delores) of Raleigh; his mother-in-law, Lillie M. Tapp of Greensboro; a brother-in-law, Vernon (Patricia) Tapp of Greensboro; sisters-in-law, Merlene Tapp Smith (John) of Kernersville and Sandra Tapp Patterson of Stokesdale; grandchildren, Tasia Pierce, Tyra Pierce, Kyle Donaldson, Tiana Pierce Feimster,and Tamia Feimster, all of Greensboro, Shawn Ethan Shearin, Tyler Shearin, Shania Shearin, all of Apex; an aunt, Ann (Lewis) Wise of New Carrolton, Maryland; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives</p><p>Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Landmark Church of God. Reverend Dale Gibson will officiate and Minister Larry Foust will officiate. Entombment will follow at the Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 U. S. Highway 29 North, Greensboro, N C 27405.</p><p>Minister Feimster will remain at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home, 603 South Center Street, Statesville, N. C. where members of the family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday night, January 30, 2015. Minister Harold Eugene Feimster, Sr., 67, of 2004 Brassfield Road, Greensboro, N.
