Nick Savoy

Nick Adarryl Savoy,45, of 914 Ivey Lane, Statesville, passed on Friday, September 6, 2019 at Davis Regional Medical Center unexpectedly. He was born in Prince George's County, Maryland and was the son of the late Sandra Savoy and James Ross. He enjoyed the outdoors and country life (fishing, animals, dirt bike riding, and building things (a man of many trades)). He also had a passion for cooking and cars. Overall amazing guy he would give the shirt off his back to help someone. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, a nephew, Antonio Ford, and cousin, Gregory Myles. His remaining relatives include his sisters, Diane Savoy, Cassandra Lasco (Kevin), Jeannette Savoy, all of North Carolina; his brothers, Dalvin Savoy, Anthony "Ringo" Savoy, Raymond "Hank" Savoy and Milton "Nay" Savoy, all of Maryland; one son, Nick Savoy Jr.; his grandchildren, Amirah Brown, Amirr Brown, Nick Savoy III, and Nora Savoy, all of Maryland; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Saturday, September 14, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at The Mary B. Bigham Memorial Chapel of Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home. Members of the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service, but will assemble at the residence at other times.
