Sandra T. Lee

Bishop Sandra Leatine Turner Lee, daughter of Alberta Bailey Turner was born in Iredell County on January 15, 1953. She peacefully departed this life on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Gordon’s Hospice House following an extended illness. <br>She was a graduate of Statesville Schools and also received her four year degree. At one time, she was employed by the Statesville Housing Authority. She enjoyed reading, dancing and was an ordained Bishop through Transformation Ministries International of Statesville. <br>She was also reared by her step-father, Walter Heaggans, who preceded her in death. <br>Left to remember and cherish her life in addition to her mother, Alberta are two sons, William Troy Heath (Kim Lashawn Augustine) of Arlington, Virginia and Kenneth Pless Gregory of Charlotte; a daughter, Chandice Health (Ashley Stovall) of Statesville; three brothers, Calvin Turner of New Ton and Michael Houston of Statesville and Walter (Lanesha) Heaggans, Jr.; four sisters, Renee Bennett, Lavonne Turner and Myra Imes, all of Statesville and Gail (Ronald) McClain of Cleveland; one grandchild, Bailey Grimes of Statesville; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.<br>
