David Richard Cook, 61, of Rockvale, Tenn., passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. A native of Akron, he was the son of the late Bernard and Jessie Cook. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Stephanie.
His survivors include wife, Mary Cook; daughters, Jill (Brian) Barnes of Madison, Wis., Jessie Cook of Nashville, Kelli (Leon) England of LeVergne, Tenn., and Katie Cook of Rockvale, Tenn.; siblings, Terease “Sis” Cook of Murfreesboro, Tenn, John Cook of Jacksonville Beach, Fla, Vince (Terri) Cook of Akron, and Mary (Bob) Phillips of Akron.
Mr. Cook had retired as a Truck Driver for Consolidated Freight. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, April 19th from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 20th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Charles Knights of Columbus, Council #2900, 150 Taylor St., Coldwater, Mich. 49036, Attn: Kevin Paradine.
