Donna Jean Burley Obituary

Donna Jean Burley (Adamov) born January 17, 1947 passed away at the age of 68 on September 13, 2015. The Lord has decided that Donna's earthly visit is complete and she will have no more pain and suffering from the disease Multiple Myeloma, only Joy in the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Donna shared the Joy of life with whoever she was around and shared her love of Jesus with all, whether it was family, a friend or stranger. She loved all people, but had a very tender heart for all children. She loved her four children equally with a passion that only a mother could know. She would do anything for them at any time they were in need. She took real joy in her grandchildren, Elisabeth and Brandon. She especially liked the train rides she took them on in the Cuyahoga Valley and the sleep overs in our home. Donna was fond of all types of animals and had numerous pets over the years. She always said she would have loved to live on a farm or by the ocean, where she could have multiple pets. Donna, we will carry with us your loving memory as long as we are here on earth and know that one day we will see you again in heaven. Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to Pastors Beth and Jeff Metzger of the Attwell Church and all the members of the church for their loving support during this time. We also want to thank all the support from Donna's family and friends (especially Doris, Debbie, and Karen) for their loving support and prayers during her illness. Donna was preceded in death by her mother and father, Sam and Jenny Adamov. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 47 years, David; her daughter, Briget (Chuck) Wolfe; and sons, Brian (Vicki), Michael (Stacey), and Christopher; her grandchildren, Alyssa (Nick) Johnson, Elisabeth and Brandon Burley; and her great grandchild, Valorie; as well as many cousins, nephews, and three brothers and their wives. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) followed by a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in Donna's name to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service (3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron 44333).
