<p>Irene Elizabeth Enoch, 97, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 30, 2015. She was born in Akron on February 17, 1918. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Enoch, Sr.; brother, Bill Bogdan; mother, Agnes Bogden; and sister-in-law, Jessie (Mickey) Bogdan. She is survived by her loving son, Warren Enoch, Jr. and daughter, Diana Lynn Enoch.</p><p>As a young woman, she enjoyed being a beautician. For the past 15 years, Irene had a hair appointment every Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with her favorite hair stylist, Tona Estlock.</p><p>She enjoyed camping with her husband and much later in life began reading (of all things) murder mysteries! She was a wonderful homemaker, cook and proud member of Guardian Angels Parish in Copley.</p><p>The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff that took such good care of Irene at Akron General Hospice Care Center on Ridgewood Road. A special thanks to Mary Lamp for her caring and sharing of prayers, communion and stories.</p><p>The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.). Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 at Guardian Angels Church (1676 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd., Copley). Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery.</p><p><br></p>
