Doris A. Sanders, 99 Doris A. Sanders, 99, of Ashland passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Crystal Care Center. She was born on September 2, 1917 in Cooter, Missouri to the late William F. and Bertha E. (nee Davis) Hudson. Doris married Harold G. Sanders in 1938. She resided most of her life in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Doris relocated to Ashland, Ohio in 2000. She was a homemaker all of her life and attended Grace Brethren Church in Ashland. Doris is survived by one daughter, Linda (Danny) Adams of Lexington, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Kelly; one grandson, Joey; three great grandchildren; a niece, Sharon (Pat) Cline of Savannah; a sister, Peggy (Delbert) Frisbie; four great nieces and nephews; 10 great-great nieces and nephews; and 16 great-great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Sanders in 1970; a sister, Mildred Allen; two brothers, Paul and Thomas Hudson. A graveside service will be held, Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in the Savannah Cemetery with Reverend Johnnie F. Swann officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ashland County Humane Society, 1710 Garfield Avenue, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
