Lawrence T. Ferretti Lawrence Thomas Ferretti, 74 of Ashland passed away, Monday evening, June 19, 2017 in Wasen Rehabilitation Center at Brethren Care Village. He was born on May 23, 1943 to the late Thomas and Viola (nee Anderson) Ferretti in Brooklyn, New York. Larry was an avid reader and was fond of discussing complicated issues of the day, scientific facts, and human life in general. He was also fondly known and will be greatly missed by his many friends on the dog walking circuit. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Jean; one daughter Jonna (Keith) Doherty of Hico, WV; one son, Christopher (Marti) Ferretti of Glenwood, IA; one granddaughter, Malin Ferretti; two sisters, Arlene Ferretti Fornace and Linda Triozzi; uncle August Ferretti; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ashland Symphony Orchestra, 401 College Avenue, Ashland OH 44805, to the Ashland County Dog Shelter, 1710 Garfield Avenue, Ashland OH 44805 or a charity of the donor’s choice.
