Why order flowers through us?

Buying flowers from us ensures that your order will be fulfilled through working with a network florists that are trusted by local funeral homes and recognized partners of the funeral industry. A customized message, along with a photo of your selected arrangement will remain in perpetuity within this memorial website. This service also includes “Smart Select” whereby the store notifies you if your floral selection has already been selected by another sender. This allows you the opportunity to choose a different product to ensure the family has a beautiful and unique selection of unique floral arrangements.

The price of these selections also includes the funeral home’s care of the flowers after the funeral and the delivery to the family or facility of choice where they can be rearranged and enjoyed by others for a longer period.

Memorial Candles

A Perpetual Tribute

The solitude and quiet peace of a flickering candle has long been a symbol of remembrance. Each candle lit will remain lit within this memorial website for the period you select. Your thoughtful gesture will be captured both in the candle as well as listed in perpetuity within the tributes section.

Memorial Trees

Circle of Life

In today’s changing world with climate change and environment concerns, “Honoring a Life” allows for family and friends to plant a memorial tree in honor of their loved one and friend. The purchase of a tree creates a beautiful permanent record on the Honoring a Life website, Each tree is planted through the efforts of Forestry Services throughout North America who determine where the greatest needs for reforestation are. Once planted, the geographical location where the tree is planted will be added to the record. A beautiful card is also sent to the family signifying your thoughtful gesture.

Financial Support

A Helping Hand

The time surrounding a death can often bring unexpected final expenses for the family far beyond the funeral itself. We are pleased to offer the ability for friends and relatives to financially support the family during their time of loss as an alternative to flowers and other sympathy gestures.

Condolences and Tributes for Craig Allen Steffen

John & I were shattered to hear of Craig's home going. No matter how much we may know that each of us only has the present moment, we are still shocked and heart-sick to lose a loved one. And that was certainly true of Craig. We affectionately remember Craig as a person who had built a big life and hugged that life wholeheartedly to himself. And Craig invited us into that life and the wonderful creative circle that Craig & Cindy built for themselves. So over the years, we enjoyed fellowship and fun with them. In the past few years, however, I felt that I got to know Craig more deeply through his book and through his encouragement to me as a fellow author who was a few steps behind him. He met with me one evening at Panera to answer my questions and give me suggestions so that I can stay legal as I market my book. He was also the one to introduce me to the Booksellers at Austin Landing, where I've had a continuing relationship as a local author. And so we grieve and we pray and we join with Cindy in her sadness...and also in her assurance that one day she will again see her beloved and our friend Craig. With great affection and oneness in our Resurrected Jesus John & Jan Loyd

I met Craig for the first time May 26, 2016 in Marshalltown. Iowa for breakfast.I found out, through his book, we were second cousins. I e-mailed him and was delighted when he called me to tell me he would love to meet me when he came to Iowa. He was only 4 years older than me and was a genuine, kind & warm person. Craig was easy to talk with and I truly am grateful he reached out to me and took time to meet me. I am extremely happy to have met Craig and Cindy. I am truly sorry for your loss. God has a bigger plan for Craig. He will be missed.

We have many fond memories of Craig. He was such a kind person, and always a good friend. Our Youth Group enjoyed many good times at the Meyer farm. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Cindy. Our "Old" Youth Group wanted to make a donation to Doctors without Borders in memory of Craig.

Craig was an man I was proud to call my friend. Words cannot express how I felt about Craig nor the void we have all experienced with losing Craig too early. But, God has a plan. We don't always understand it, don't always agree with his timing, but Craig knew God has a plan for all of his. His love for everything, especially Cindy, his newly discovered family, and his Personal Savior Jesus Christ, were the foundation for who Craig was. I will miss him dearly and will remember him forever. If you loved Craig, please know God loves each and every one of us. He would want everyone to learn this during their short time here.
