Preston Lacy

Lacy, Preston Junior, 84, of Bellbrook, went home to be with the Lord Friday August 23, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 29, 1928 in Canel City, Kentucky to Mary Jayne (Scaff) and William Preston Lacy. Preston served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He was a very gracious and kind man and a loving husband and father. Everyone who knew him loved him. He retired from Delco Products Division of G.M. after decades of employment and continued to enjoy life as an avid golfer and hunter. Preston was preceded in death by his parents, the love of his life, his wife Lois (Jan. 20, 2009) and son Kent. He leaves behind a large circle of family and friends; son Timothy Preston (Marissa) of Englewood, two daughters Teresa Montgomery (Edward “Juney”) of Huber Heights and Janice Ray (Robert) of Bellbrook, eight grandchildren Heidi (Ray), Timothy (Jessie), Seth (Natalie), Leslie (Sam), Jonah, Eddie,Vanessa and Shai, eight great-grandchildren Caleb, Hannah, Noah, Miriam, Micah, Levi, Aaron and Rebecca, brother Bobby Lacy (Heva) of St. Paris, Ohio, two sisters Coe Lewis and Gay Light, both of Franklin, Indiana. The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Monday Aug. 26 at Cornerstone Baptist Temple, 1707 Ohmer Ave., Dayton. Funeral services 12:00 pm (noon) Tuesday at East Fork Christian Church, 129 East Fork Rd., Vanceburg, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.
