Washington Cemetery <br> Karl is the husband of Rosemary (nee Hilpolsteiner) Dappen. They were married on May 5, 1956 in Indiana. His parents were Russel S. Dappen and Stella M. St. Clair. He is the father of Karl L. (Vicki Cullen) Dappen, Kris Anne (Gary) Kremer, Kelly Jay (Angie) Dappen and the late Deborah Lynne Dappen. Karl had five grandchildren - Joel, Noah & Hannah Kremer and Samuel & Lily Dappen. <br> Karl served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged on Sept 12, 1955 in SanDiego, California. <br>
