Ethelyn was loved by all those in which she came in contact. She was a faithful member of St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church. She spent a number of years serving on the board of the “Miss Black Ohio” pageants and assisting with countless “13 Stars” fashion shows, under the direction of her special friend, Verna Adams.
