TOBE, Genevieve M., “Gen” age 97 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017. She was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church. A life time member of VFW Post # 7741. Preceded in death by her husband Al, daughter Mildred, grandson Eric Tobe, 3 sisters Mary, Alma and Lu, 3 brothers Noah, John and Larry. Survived by daughters Beverly (Steve) Hemmelgarn of Englewood, Bonnie (Daryl) Evans of Englewood, 3 sons Ron (Janice) of Englewood, Larry (Deborah) of Rotonda West, FL, Scott (Laura) of Clearwater, FL, 14 grandchildren Jamie (Christina) Tobe, Jeff Tobe, Kelley (Brian) Stephens, Heidi (Jay) Bell, Jessie (Fletch) Zimpher, Ben, Chad and Amy Tobe, Brian (Steph) Evans, Kyle Evans, Sean (Jen) Tobe, Craig Tobe, Enddy (Scott) Stevens, Rob (Mimi) Messick, 13 great grandchildren Shelby, Cole, Jake, Layne, Joey, Zack, Lucas, Max, Mallory, Regan, Reid, Ryan and Isla; 3 sisters Ruth, Verdice and Phyllis, 3 sister-in-laws Kate, Evelyn and Shirley, and numerous, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Precious Blood Catholic Church by Father Tim Knepper C.PP.S. Interment Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N. Main St. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Ohio Hospice of Dayton or VFW “Little Post” # 7741 in her memory. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.bakerhazelsnider.com.
