A member and deacon of Crestview Presbyterian Church in West Chester, he eased into retirement by serving a few years as business manager at Knox Presbyterian Church and Indian Hill Church in Cincinnati. An Eagle Scout like his two brothers, John was always generous with his time and in recent years tutored people from Japan and South Korea through Warren County’s Adult New Readers literacy program. In lieu of attending a traditional memorial service, family and friends are encouraged to participate in the Parkinson’s Steady Strides Race on June 6, 2020 in Mason. In the meantime, please take a moment to remember John and give thanks for his life. Memorials gifts may be sent to DePauw University, one of the aforementioned churches, or Parkinson Support & Wellness Cincinnati.
