Timothy Wallen LOVELAND, Ohio Obituary

Timothy Wallen

Timothy Wallen was best known as a dedicated family man and hard working small business owner. Tim understood the importance of family from an early age and as a child sold items door to door earning money to help support his family. As a young man he built a manufacturing company from the ground up learning construction, electrical, plumbing and computer skills necessary for operating and growing a successful business for over 35 years. Tim was a very determined, capable man, always willing to give opportunities to inexperienced or disadvantaged individuals and known for giving more than one second chance, Tim's employees knew him as the understanding, reasonable, friendly guy they called Boss. A man with ethics, absolute integrity and impeccable character, Tim was always fair, honest, trustworthy, generous and forgiving. Tim married his high school sweetheart, Vickie (Wood) Wallen, and they shared over 39 years of truly happy marriage. Together they raised four sons; Justin, Ryan, Branden and Kevin Wallen, guiding, teaching and watching them grow into successful young men. Tim was completely dedicated to Vickie and the boys, spending countless hours coaching Little League, throwing footballs, playing soccer, attending school concerts and events, swimming, camping and teaching his sons how to be good, honest men. He enjoyed horse back riding with Vickie and always supported her charity events, volunteering hundreds of hours and donating generously to non-profit organizations; the PTA, Junior Athletic Association, Band Boosters and more recently pet rescue. Tim loved his dog Baron and made time every day to throw frisbee and play chase with him. Tim was always happiest at home with Vickie and loved having the family gather there for cookouts and celebrations. After suffering three years of debilitating strokes Tim passed away quietly, at home, cradled in the arms of his devoted and loving wife. Tim will be mourned by his immediate family, who loved him so completely, and also by his daughters-in-law Akiho (Nazumi) Wallen, Morgan (Nimmo) Wallen and Kendra Suttles, as well as father-in-law Jerry Wood, sister-in-law Kimberly (Wood) Clement and nephews Seth and Sam Clement who all cared very deeply for Tim. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations may be made to Sweet Dream House Rescue , the dog and cat rescue that Tim and Vickie have volunteered with and supported so ardently over the past decade (registered 501c non-profit).
