Alyce L. Kirby of Madison, Ohio born 66 years ago, April 18, 1946 in Painesville, Ohio to the late parents of Eugene and Mary Ellen Wolf, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, April 25, 2012. She was a graduate of the class of 1964 from Harvey High School. She was a devoted member of the Perry Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. She resided most of her life in Painesville, Ohio. She moved to Arizona and resided there for 11 years before returning back to Ohio 5 years ago. She was the kind of person who always thought first of the best interest of her husband, children and grandchildren. She was an amazing woman who loved life and all who were part of it. She always put others before herself. She was an exceptional woman. She enjoyed spending time with her feline companions Alley, Katie and Ziggy. She loved baseball and her favorite ice cream. She loved to redecorate her home and had a knack of brightening up a room as she entered, as she always brought a smile to her beautiful face. She is truly an inspiration to all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Kenneth Kirby and 3 loving daughters, Katherin (Randolph) Wahl of Florida, Lynette (Smith) Kirby of Painesville, Delores Kirby of Florida; grandchildren Brandon, Ashley, Dylan, Kenneth, Alexis, Amanda and Logan. Great grandchildren Aubrey and Arianna. Sisters Loretta Wolf of Painesville and Kimberly (Michael) Pierce of Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Mary Ellen Wolf and brother Garland (Laddie) Wolf. Our family would like to say a special thank you to Hospice for the outstanding compassion and special care they provided to our mother and family. Friends will be received from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, April 30th at the Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Avenue, Painesville. A memorial service, officiated by Elder Ronald Reichard will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 4 p.m. at the Perry Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 7320 Middle Ridge Rd., Madison, Ohio.
