Mrs. Johnnie Mae McIntyre, age 83 of Painesville passed away June 11, 2013. She was born January 15, 1930 in Kannapolis, NC to the late John and Ruth (Russell) Coleman.
Mrs. McIntryre was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Painesville where she served on the Missionary Society Choir and the Courtesy Committee. She had been employed at General Electric in Willoughby as an inspector and prior to that she had worked at Fluid Controls.
She is survived by her daughters Jacqueline Wilson of Painesville, Sharon Baker of Houston, TX and Patricia McIntyre of Cincinnati as well as her brother Donald Cannon of Cincinnati. She also leaves to cherish her memory grandchildren Dwight Baker, Dinita Baker, Jennifer Griffin, Jami Gibson and Mia McIntyre as well as 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her former husband Henry R. McIntyre and brothers William Coleman and LeRoy Coleman.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 361 W. Jackson St., Painesville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Rev. Jeffrey Jemison will officiate. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Painesville following the service.
