Brenda Curtis, age 67 of Winchester, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center. She was born in Adams County, Ohio on April 12, 1948 the daughter of the late Clarence and Thelma (Ramsey) Fetters. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Denise Stout; three brothers, Buster, Dale, and Greg Fetters; two sisters, Debbie Conley and Patricia Fetters; and one great grandson. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Andy Curtis of Winchester; two daughters, Vanneta and Ron Hayslip of Winchester and Angie and Marty Akers of Winchester; three brothers, Gary Fetters of Seaman, Steve Fetters of Peebles, and Paul Fetters of Peebles; four sisters, Shirley Taylor of Florida, Sue Boling of Peebles, Judy Dotson of Seaman, and Paula Boldman of West Union; one son-in-law, Brad Stout of Seaman; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and lots of nieces and nephews. Visitation has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman. Funeral services are scheduled for the following day at 11:00 A.M. also at the funeral home with Rev. Tim Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Kirker Cemetery.
