Charles W. “Bill” Miller, age 86 of Winchester, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center. He was born in Peebles, Ohio on August 28, 1928 the son of the late Harshall and Audra (Grimes) Miller. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife of 53 years, Doris Miller and two sisters, Sarah Crowe and Jean Ann Doak. He attended Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Peebles and was an Adams County Snowbird. He is survived by his second wife, Geneva (Brown) Miller of Winchester; one son, Micky and Debbie Miller of Winchester; one daughter, Kim Miller Wenning and husband Jerome of West Union; two step sons, Terry Stout of Peebles and Patrick Stout of Phoenix, Arizona; one step daughter, Jennifer Johnson of Lake Waynoka; two granddaughters, Anyssa Wright and Joseph of Winchester and Amberlee Miller of Sarasota, Florida; two great granddaughters, four step grandchildren, and 9 step great grandchildren. Visitation has been scheduled for Monday, June 8, 2015 from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester. Funeral services are scheduled for the following day at 2:00 P.M. also at the funeral home with Father Ted Kosse and Gene Toole officiating. Burial will follow in Winchester Cemetery.
