Zonnie Holbrook

Zonnie Holbrook, Sr., age 74 of West Union, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on March 21, 1941 the son of the late Lacy and Lilly (Roberts) Holbrook. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife whom he married on July 6, 1960, Rosemarie (Nehus) Holbrook of West Union; four sons, Roger and Michele Holbrook of West Union, Zonnie and Lisa Holbrook, Jr. of West Union, Johnny and Michelle Robinson of Alabama, and Zonnie Wayne of Blanchester; six daughters, Lexie and Charles McCann of Seaman, Roxanna and Danny Simpson of Seaman, Christine and Tony Carter of Peebles, Tammy and Rick Shifflett of West Virginia, Elizabeth and Joshua Gordon of Tennessee, and Amber and Tom Burks of Tennessee; one brother, Danny Eugene Holbrook of Seaman; four sisters, Bonnie Sue Thomas of Peebles, Ina Cluxton of Cherry Fork, Wilma Dotson of Seaman, and Linda Ward of Peebles; 24 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Visitation has been scheduled for 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Wallace-Thomson Funeral Home in Peebles, with Dennis Ward officiating. Funeral services are scheduled for the following day at 1:00 P.M. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
