Obituary for Budd D. Davis

Budd D. Davis, 95, passed away on Friday March 31, 2017 in Arbors of Sylvania. He was born in Toledo on December 24, 1921 to Pearl and Harold Davis.
Budd attended Devilbiss High School and served his country honorably in the United States Coast Guard as a Seaman. He was employed by Plaskon and Allied Chemical for over 46 years and was a member of UAW 12. He was also a part time bartender at Delite Bar. Budd loved to fish on Lake Erie and Vineyard Lake in Michigan. He enjoyed spending time and vacationing in Venice Florida, Western Square Dancing, playing Euchre and crafting. He was a member of the Sylvania Senior Center, The American Legion for seven years, The Elks, The Moose, The Eagles, The Polka Booster Club of America, The Toledo Area Polka Society, and the International Music Association.
Budd is survived by his loving children, Brenda (Alan Dewey) Davis, Timothy (Marlene) Davis of Boston, daughter numerous nieces, nephews, and significant other Jeannette Lubinski and her loving family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Florence, as well as three brothers and one sister.
His family wishes to extend special thanks to nurses Lorraine and Lisa for the excellent care that he received.
Friends are invited to visit from 4:00-7:00pm on Tuesday April, 4, 2017 in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, W. 3000 Sylvania Ave. A Graveside will begin at 11:00am on Wednesday at the Historic Woodlawn Cemetery, 1502 W.
