Eric R. Dryden, 67, passed away on January 3, 2018. He was the very first baby born at 12:01am in 1951 on New Year’s Day in the Toledo Hospital to Arlene and Earl Dryden.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an insurance agent for 22 years, and a cargo handler for 17 years. Throughout his life, Eric was an avid sports fan and spectator. His favorite teams were the Ohio State Buckeye’s, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Indians.
He is survived by his loving family, father, Earl Dryden; siblings, Jill (John) Howard, Todd Dryden, Chris (Vinson) Long; nieces and nephews, Derek (Tonya) Lederman, Erica (Ryan) Wooley; great-niece and nephews, Tanner, Braylen, and Torrah. He was preceded in death by his mother Arlene Dryden, and brother Reed.
Friends are invited to visit from 2:00-6:00pm on Sunday, January 7, 2017 in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 W. Sylvania Ave. where funeral services will begin on Monday at 11:00am, Rev.
