Obituary for Frank Orlando Bullano

Frank O. “Midge” Bullano passed away at Ebied Hospice on July 1st 2015. Frank was born on July 8, 1924 to the late John and Lena Delillo Bullano in New Castle, PA and has resided in Toledo, Ohio since 1951 after being married to the former Marie Orlando on September 9th 1951 who survives him. Frank leaves behind a daughter, Diane Seeburger (Gil), Grandson Angelo Bullano, three great-grandchildren Zoe, Dante and Logan Bullano, a sister Norma Gesue of New Castle, PA, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceeded in death by his parents, two brothers Vito and James and sister Anna.

Frank attended New Castle High School before entering the U.S. Army and Youngstown State University after being honorably discharged. He was employed by National Radiator Works and the Bossert Division of Timkin Detroit Axle in New Castle, PA. After moving to Toledo he was employed by Inshield Die & Stamping for six years and Acklin Stamping for 31 years where he was a Die Shop Supervisor. After retiring, Frank worked as a manufacturing engineering consultant for eight years at Tecumseh Products Corp. While in the Army he was a T5 Corporal in the tenth Army Corp. for three years, eighteen months of which he served over-sees in the Pacific. He was awarded two Presidential Citations, two Bronze Stars, Army Good Conduct Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon, WWII Victory Ribbon, two Meritorious Service Awards, three Over-Sees bars, and letters of Commendation. He enjoyed golfing and family. He was a member of Giant Oaks Golf Course and Tamaron Country Club.

Friends and family are invited to visit from 3-7pm Monday July 6th 2015 at Ansberg-West Funeral Home 3000 Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43613, where a Scripture Service will be held at 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 10am Tuesday July 7th 2015 at St. Clements Church. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made for the benefit of Frank’s great-grandchildrens’ education fund c/o Ansberg-West Funeral Home.
