April 11, 2008 For 93 years Jane experienced fantastic health and a wonderful spirit. Her sense of humor and tenacity will be remembered forever in the hearts of the family she put first. Jane was an accomplished organist and pianist. She attended the University of Toledo. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Vella Caswall; brother, Dean Caswall and the beloved husband she could never replace, Arthur Robert Paris. She is survived by her cherished family, daughters, Nancy (Thomas) Paris Kabat of Toledo, and Patricia Paris Wallace of Seattle; loving grandchildren, Jay and Elizabeth Kabat DeGroft of Mason, OH, Matson and Samantha Kabat Schwalm of Chicago; great-grandchildren, Walter Devin, Samantha Jane, Caroline Elizabeth, Tanner Thomas DeGroft and soon to be fifth great-grandchild, baby Schwalm. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy McCandlish and brothers-in-law, Robert (Nancy) and Harvey (Mooney) O'Neill and many nieces and nephews. A private service will be held. Those planning and expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. Michael's in the Hills Church. Jane's family wishes to express gratitude to Dr. Don Vogel, an excellent, responsive, and caring physician. Also a special thanks to everyone at the Sunset House for their incredible care.
