Jean F. Malcom, 84, passed away on Tuesday May 29, 2007 in the Franciscan Care Center. She was born in Toledo on August 10, 1922 to Clarence and Elma Hammer. Jean was a lifelong member of the Fairgreen Lutheran Church, which was formerly Rosewood Lutheran Church. She was active in the Order of the Eastern Star where she served as Mother Advisor. She was a volunteer with the "Satellites" at the Medical University of Ohio. Jean enjoyed knitting and needlepoint. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald; her sons, Daniel (Pamela) Malcom, David (Debra) Malcom; grandchildren Ann (Eric) Simon, Heather Malcom (Jeff Labute), Sarah (Robert) Folger, Adam Malcom, Christopher Malcom; 6 Great-Grandchildren; siblings, Clarence Hammer, and twin sister Jane (Johnny) Knorr. Friends are invited to visit on from 2:00-8:00PM on Thursday May 31, 2007 in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Ave. where funeral services will begin on Friday at 11:00AM. Interment in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Franciscan Care Center.
