CAROL: DIANE AND I WOULD LIKE TO OFFER OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY FOR THE LOSS OF "JUMBO". HE TRULY FILLED A ROOM WITH HIS SIZE AND STYLE. SOME OF THE MOST ENJOYABLE TIMES AT INVERNESS THROUGH THE YEARS WAS WHEN JEFF WAS IN THE ROOM OR ON THE GOLF COURSE. HE WAS SO SMART, WHICH GAVE HIM THE ABILITY TO BEING SO ENTERTAINING. I KNOW HIS LAST YEARS WERE NOT HIS BEST BUT ALL I CAN REMEMBER IS THE "OLD" JEFF. A "SLADETINIE" GLASS STILL REMAINS ON THE ROUND TABLE IN THE MEN'S GRILL EVERY FRIDAY EVENING. I KNOW HE IS GONE, BUT HE SHALL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. WITH SYMPATHY JIM & DIANE

To the Slade family, I'm so sorry and surprised to learn of Mr. Slade passing. My heart goes and to you and you will be in my prayers. Mr. Slade loved the Chicken Amandine soup from Inverness and when ever we had it on the menu I'd give him a call. When the regular girl didn't make it he would know the difference and he would call and say whats going on over there Gloria, Joyce didn't make that soup and he would be right. I will miss making that phone call to Mr. Slade but, to Mrs. Slade if you want to be on my soup call list you know I'm here for you and anything else you need just give me a call, you and the family are in my prayers.
